How to cope with painful urination?

Hi I went to the doctors 4 days ago after having unprotected oral sex, and I presented with white milky discharge from the urethra, swollen interior shaft, and sensitive skin over urethra and lots of pain in the shaft and head of my penis during urination. I took the STD test, but results take at least 7 days, and he gave me Vagyl, which is doing nothing, what can I do to ease to constant pain I am in? He will not return my calls... I even went in and he wouldn't answer a 10 second question I had...
